As and artist, I strive to capture the beauty of moments that go unnoticed. Whether that is in photography, capturing the moments between movement, in art, capturing the small, hidden details, in dance and choreography, communicating feelings that cannot always be said, or even in poetic writing, dissecting the art I create. I am especially drawn to nature and candid, improvisational moments; As a dancer, I enjoy capturing the beauty of dance, especially moments that may feel like "mistakes" as they allow for a story to be communicated through a single shot.
With my work, I strive to emphasize the details that we don't always see at first glance and evoke a new understanding that is better felt than explained to those who observe it.
